Carefree's First Reunion

The first, ever, Carefree ECS Reunion was held on Sunday, July 18th, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was one of the most incredible events of my life. Originally, it was touted as a surprise party for me (thank goodness I found out!).  It was lovingly organized by my mom and a group of my good doggy friends.  The successes of my breeding program are greatly attributed to group efforts and this event was certainly no different.

There were 80+ people and 50+ dogs  in attendance.   The dogs all ran free in the building which had been decorated to the max!  There was copious amounts of delicious food that was enjoyed by all.  Jeanne made real chocolate ECS that were yummy and were designed replicas of my dogs (see photo below).  There were photos of all of the puppies as babies and a board that held the various news media articles that Carefree ECS have been featured in. A wonderful memory book was assembled by Gretchen, who collected photos and stories from Carefree ECS owners.  Kristine read a poem that my mom wrote about the dogs, which was a wonderful.  We even had matching t-shirts to commemorate the reunion.

We were joined by an animal communicator who was available for sessions with the dogs.  Two of my friends, SusanCascio and Patti Ferris, flew all the way in from Maryland, for this special occasion!  It was just an incredible day!! Many, many thanks to all of you that attended the party and who contributed to making the day such a huge success.  Most of all, thank you for your friendship and your continued support of my breeding program. I truly look at it as a group effort and a true example of the phrase, "Together we can make a difference!"  - Sincerely,   Amy

Comments on the Party

"It was truly an awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  I knew from what I had seen previously, that you had done some classy breeding but, being in that room was still a little overwhelming.  My dear, you should definitely be breeder of the year!!!  Such quality and beauty."  - Sharyn

"Had a wonderful time while I was at your party. We were all
impressed by the lack of barking and growling for so many dogs running
loose!! What a success story you are as a breeder! " - Kim

"We had lots of fun at the party. It really turned out great.  I think that was the first time that I ever saw Jenna's parents.  Sorry we forgot the camera, but it looked like quite a few people had one.  The poem your mother wrote was wonderful. Lots of meaning in it.  Looks like there was a lot of memories for you during the party and in the memory books. We're glad we could attend the party."  - Teresa and Jeff
